I make Scripture-centered junk journals that I call Treasure Journals. For a long time, I found myself using the same pocket layouts over and over. Pockets work, they’re familiar and practical, but after a while, they started to feel a little limiting creatively.
So I began blending digital scrapbooking with junk journaling, and that’s where Story Frames were born. Instead of building a page around multiple pockets, I design one layered, story-driven image that anchors the whole page. It carries the heart of the lesson visually while keeping the journaling process simple and approachable.
These Story Frames can stand alone as a focal point, or they can be adhered on two or three sides to act as a pocket, letting Scripture or journaling cards tuck neatly behind the image. The result is a page that stays flat, cuts easily, and feels fresh—without losing meaning or depth.
